When it comes to beards, I have learned over the years that the details matter. The type of comb, the type of oils and balms you choose. The most important detail of them all is your stylist. I have been to quite a few shops, tried out 7-8 different beard stylists before finding someone great. Don't get me wrong, most of them were ok, but I mean my beard is on my face and I see it and everyone see's it every day, whether it is business or personal relationships, it all matters. People judge you in the first few minutes of seeing you, by your appearance. So it clearly has to be great. I was referred to Kenzy quite a while ago, when I began to see her, I came to her with some beard goals. Showed her a pic and she helped me every few weeks to tailor it and get it right. She knows her shit and takes great pride in doing a fantastic job. I am very picky myself, have scouted quite a few shops and stylists, save yourself some time and money, check out Kenzy at Take Pride Barbershop. BTW - Plan ahead, and make a reservation because she fills up fast. I also learned this the hard way.

My barber is Dylan Cruz & hands down this man needs a standing ovation every time I see this man it makes a bad day good and a good day greater! I leave impressed and more impressed then the last. I appreciate the attentiveness that is given with every cut, his quality far passes any other barber I’ve been to and am looking forward to the visits to come! Take pride barber shop is a great fit for this man and the folks in the establishment they also deserve a standing ovation for the professionalism given as well as the cuts given! I’m very impressed and leave in awe with the cosmetics & professionals in the building. I appreciate everything from Dylan keep the great work up and keep moving forward! The come up is real!!

Great barbers at a great shop. Kenzy has been my barber for years, and it's nice to see that she finally has her own place. They have also been doing frequent benefits for local charities. A+ people for sure.

It feels like the place to just hang out and get the best haircut you've ever had. Kenzy listened to how I wanted my haircut and then I said "I trust you". I received the best cut I've had in a long time. Grab a cold beverage, watch some sport TV and walk out feeling like a boss. STAY SHARP!

This has been on of the best cuts I have had in a long time. I worked with Kenzy and was very impressed with her attention to detail. This business has a great mission and I was very impressed with how much they are involved with their community. More businesses should embrace this model.

I went to get a haircut and beard trim yesterday and left with much more that a sweet new do. Chris was extremely well-spoken and passionate about styling hair and I learned a lot about my own hair and what works for it just through conversation with him as an expert. The space was also extremely chill- very relaxed seating area with drinks and snacks- I could tell a lot of effort has been put in to create a comfortable and affirming atmosphere. I've just found my new go-to barber. Shout-out to Chris!

Kenzy is a legend. Great atmosphere that is warm and inviting. If you want an amazing haircut and an excellent experience make an appointment. You will never regret it.

First time visiting this shop. Great barbershop owned by an awesome barber. I followed Chris Morgan to this location because he takes time with each client to make sure you leave looking and feeling fresh. Would recommend checking this spot out if you’re in NE or SE.
